Types of data we collect and share
UP Innovations Cookies
We use cookies to save session related information, e.g. language preference, for your visits and repeat visits. We also use cookies in our application to ensure that once you are logged in, you can navigate between various pages of the application without needing to login on every page.
These cookies are not shared with anyone and do not track you as you navigate to other sites.
Email Addresses and Names
As part of the registration process for our Applications we collect personal information, which includes Email address and First/Last Names. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Why do we need it - We use this information to communicate with you as part of application functionality to identify you vs. your colleagues who may be using the application and data at the same time and to send emails to carry out password reset procedures.
Public Data from Government Sources
We also collect and process publicly disclosed data gathered from various public / government sources and provide it as part of our applications.
Service Providers
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Mail Sending Services - SendGrid
We use Sendgrid to send emails from our application (Transcactional emails, e.g. Welcome email when you register, Password reset confirmation) and also ad-hoc emails (announcements about our service). Sendgrid complies with Privacy Shield certification and their privacy policy can be found here.
Other platforms - Amazon Web Services and SquareSpace
We also rely on Amazon Web Services which holds our data and provides compute infrastructure. We use SquareSpace to provide website hosting services. Both of these platforms have privacy policies that can be found on their respective websites.
Access to and Control over your personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer. Emails sent by us have an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom which can be clicked to be taken off the mailing list:
